Jack Thompson... -.-

That guy pisses me off. I don't see what he has against video games. I mean seriously, someone gets killed by a 12 year old and he sues a random game company. Something is wrong with him. Listen to his latest statement;

"At one point, JT refers to Microsoft's Flight Simulator as a training simulator for the 9/11 terrorists: 'What's next, Paul, a game in which players can practice flying commercial jetliners into the World Trade Towers? Oh, I forgot. Microsoft already did that.' " Quoted from Joystiq.

He'll blame anything that goes wrong on a game. He would sue Pac-man because it's a training simulator for babies to eat small objects and choke themselves. Just a while back, with the game Bully, he was protesting it because "it was a training simulator for bullies". Had he played the game? No. That's not even what it was about. Jack Thompson is a big publicity stunt. He wants attension, he wants money. So he picks on the game industry and causesn an uproar. Did you know that he bought stock from Take Two interactive (the makers of GTA and Bully) just so he could attend the shareholders meeting? He wants to yell at the CEO. ANyway, my point is, games are made because they allow us to do things we coulsn't do in real life. That's why we play them, not because we want to learn how to go hi-jack a car. JT is taking them way too seriously, and even if he thinks games like that could influence the vulnerable minda of children, that's what the ratings are for, so stop bashing our games... Stupid lawyer -_-

Well, hello.

Today was another average day. Went ranting on Yahoo answers a bit. I've gotten better at my "debating", so I don't get too overheated... >_> Anyway, might as well tell you about the day before yesterday (which was when the last post was, picking up where I left off.) My cousin made some go-kart thing out of a handtruck, a pair of stilts, a bungee cord and a piece of wood. It works surprisingly well. The reason I was so tired was I had stayed up late last night in a caffeine rush and I was really pooped when I woke up from lack of sleep. Then, I ran all around the neighborhood and pulled him and his little friends around on the go kart. That left me tired, plus extra homework I had, which made my brain tired. I'm never one to do nothing, but when I got home i just walked in here, sat on the couch, and stared into infinity for 20 minutes, I didn't sleep or anything, I was just kinda thinking... Nothing happened yesterday, not that I can remember atleast. And today we went to walmart to get some stuff for my Great Grandmother's (Mema) 90th birthday. It was going to be a surprise party, but my grandmother's fruitcake of a sister (nobody likes her) went and told Mema about it. Evidently, but she said she couldn't come when we invited her, and then she started telling everyone she didn't get invited. She's too weird... Well, we got a picture of the whole family and blew it up at walmart, got some frames 'n things for it, and got a few birthday cards. While we were shopping I played the Guitar Hero demo they had out, I'm getting it for my b-day, in 17 or 18 days. ^_^ I saw a thing on Digg the other day called Fontifier, and what it does is take your handwriting and make it into a font. Well, I figured I'd try and cheat the system and get it for free (it costs 10 bucks) by using their print out font card, but downloading a 30 day trial of a font program from download.com to make it into a font. It's going to be reall hard considering my handwriting sucks. I'll have to try that later, too. Well, thats all I've got for you tonight.

Good to be back! I guess.

Well, lookie here. Back to my old blog, eh? Yep, it's true. I can't believe it either. I know I'm probably the only one that remembers my ancient blogging attempt, but not like it really matters. Aanyway, I've attempted to fix this ol' blog up by putting in a new background and banner. Yayzors. Like I said, it's been a while since I've been to this blog. I've gone through two screennames already. Well, anyway, today was kinda hectic. I'm sorry, that kind implies some elaboration, but I'm really tired and I'm going to bed now.

Test dummy

Hey everyone! Dereks got me into programming, and I want a new look for my other blog.
Im gonna be using this one as a test dummy, so it might look weird and/or be all screwed up.
ust expect anything. :P

Right now it looks exactly as "My thoughts and opinions", but with different posts.
Im gonna try and change the background to my wallpaper I made. Then maybe create custom "boxes" which seem to just be image(s). Ill have to do some investigating on what makes a blogger tick so I can dig through the code and replace everything.
Ill keep you updated on my progress. For now, time to dive into the code!

Edit: Ok, i've gotten all mo content boxes transparent which looks GREAT, now I just need to pry open that profile box which doesnt want to budge. Ill have to find that in the code, then ill change the font colors which are all in RGB values instead of HEX which im going to fix.
Then ill get to the little things like link colors and a new banner.

Edit: OK, I changed the colors of the text above the various content boxes, and I made a new banner which are the finishing touches! That banner was a pain in the you know what to get looking right. I was going to a transparent effet, but true transparency looked crappy, so I had to rig it by making the BG of the banner the actual site BG. alignment was tough, but I go it. Its perfect!
The template has been applied to MTAO. :)
